Turkey's HRC Exports Falling by 24.34% Year on Year But Soaring by 36.06% Year on Year

According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the country’s exports of hot rolled coils (HRC) totaled 57,425 tons in October, falling by 24.34% year on year but soaring by 36.06% year on year.

The export values generated by HRC totaled US$33.33 million in October, decreasing by 26.99% year on year but rising by 37.25% from the previous month.

In the January-October period, the country’s HRC exports amounted to 1.11 million tons, jumping substantially by 116.93% year on year.

In the given period of time, Italy was the largest importer of the Turkish HRC with 428,078 tons; Portugal was the second largest one with 190,941 tons and Spain was the third largest one with 90,059 tons.
