UK-based supermarket giant, Tesco has introduced new cardboard packaging for its pre-school toy brand Carousel to make unpackaging easier.
The new Carousel boxes have been designed by Less Packaging and take around 45 seconds to unpackage. They are simple enough for a child to do so alone, packagingeurope.com reported.
Less Packaging managing partner Greg Lawson said Tesco wanted to answer a real customer need by offering quick and easy access to their Carousel toys as well as offering a commercial, deliverable and sustainable solution.
Tesco head of brand design Sarah Allen said working with Less Packaging has given Tesco a new innovation and is something that customers are responding to well.
