The Suzuki iV-4 concept has been teased ahead of the compact SUV's unveiling at the Frankfurt motor show in September.
The Suzuki iV-4 will preview a new design language for the car maker, though Suzuki says it will retain the clamshell bonnet and five-bar grille design of its existing Grand Vitara and Jimny SUV models.
Sporting a Range Rover Evoque-like stance, the concept car makes extensive use of lighting, featuring daytime running lights, illuminated grill surrounds and roof-mounted spotlights.
Based on a shortened SX4 S-Cross platform, the Suzuki iV-4 is expected to be offered in front- and rear-wheel-drive setups, and will be built at the firm's factory in Hungary.
The concept's unveiling follows months of rumours that Suzuki would release a Nissan Juke rival for 2015, part of a wider expansion of its model line-up. Along with the release of the iV-4, Suzuki is also set to replace its existing Alto?and SX4 models in the near future.
