Iranian firm Khoshform has selected Sacmi’s IPS 400 injection preform moulding machine to manufacture PET performs.
The high-performance solution will be utilized by the Iranian firm to produce PET preforms using injection technology.
Available in the 96-128 cavity range, the IPS 400 is designed to ensure the offer enhanced preform quality.
The IPS 220 version, the previous version of IPS 400, includes the compatibility of the IPS 400 with existing competitor-made moulds.
Khoshform will install the Sacmi system at its Mashad facility by the end of 2016 as part of the deal signed last April.
Khoshform operates two production plants one in Mashhad and other in Qazvin in Iran. It has 17 solutions for the high-speed manufacture of preforms.
The decision to invest in the new IPS 400 solution comes as the company intends to meet the specific needs of converters through high performance, quality, user-friendliness and flexibility solutions with complementary ultra-high speed quality control systems.
Sacmi said that the IPS400 design process is compatible with competitor's existing moulds, thus eliminates the need for retrofitting kit while ensuring output flexibility.
Recently, Italian firm Pelliconi Group has selected Sacmi to supply a metal cap production line to boost its business in China.
The company is engaged in manufacturing machines and complete plants for the ceramics, packaging, food and automation industries. It also supplies the aluminium cap liner-making and application machine.
