The Country's Steel Consumption and Demand Might Rise by at Least 5% Year on Year in 2013

It’s reported that the Argentina Steel Chamber (CAA) predicted that the country’s steel consumption and demand might rise by at least 5% year on year in 2013.

According to the forecast made by CAA, the country’s flat steel sector will be driven by the automotive and while goods.

Meanwhile, CAA said that the oil industry would be the main consumer of the long steel products.

In addition, it’s expected that around US$470 million would be spent in the country’s steel sector this year, in comparison of a disbursement of $390 million in a year ago.
