Flor De Cana Has Unveiled New Bottle Design and Labels in Response

Slow-Aged rum of Nicaragua, Flor de Cana has unveiled new bottle design and labels in response to the growing demand for its premium and ultra-premium rums.

Flor de Cana global brand development manager Paul Caffrey said the sleek new look emphasizes the heritage, age and traditional craftsmanship of the rum.

"It showcases the brand as unique, modern and super premium - exactly what we need to appeal to our growing customer base around the world," Caffrey added.

As part of the redesign, Flor de Cana improved the glass quality of the bottles and etched them with stalks of sugar cane.

Flor de Cana's 4, 5 and 7-year-old 'mixable' premium rum bottles in the Slow-Aged collection carry the same shape, but for a better hand feel their height has been increased and the sides are rounded.

The smooth rectangular shape of the bottle has been maintained for Flor de Cana's 12 and 18 year-old single-estate rums in the Centenario Collection, while adding height and heavier glass.
