RPC Containers Blackburn has created a new, narrower jar for Tangerine Confectionery which loses none of the on-shelf impact of its larger predecessor.
Tangerine Confectionery will be using these containers for its Taveners traditional sweet shop range and Jameson's high-quality chocolate-covered confectionery.
The container's glass-clear appearance helps in highlighting the colourful, high-quality products inside the containers and the wide neck helps in easy dispensing and uses a 105mm black cap supplied by RPC Halstead.
Tangerine Confectionary senior brand manager Sarah Brown said: "We've been really impressed with the response from the RPC team following our brief for the new jars.
"The new, bespoke jars feature a more traditional style, which we think will really appeal to the wholesale market, while also offering retailers great value for money. We've worked with RPC on a number of projects now and look forward to working with the team in the future to develop further new packaging solutions for our products."
The injection-moulded 3.6L PET jar is made in a custom mould. It is as tall as the 4L version and carries the same on-shelf presence.
RPC said that it has a long-term supplier relationship with Tangerine Confectionery in Pontefract, Yorkshire, which helped in acing the deal to create the new pack.
RPC Containers Blackburn produces injection-moulding of PP open-top small pots for food & DIY markets (220ml-1.5l) in either a print or labelled format. PP paintcans (2.5l & 5l) are also offered in labelled and printed format.
