Contract for Printed Circuit Board Assemblies Belongs to CTS

CTS EMS, a provider of manufacturing solutions to electronics equipment customers, has received a contract from a medical orthopedic firm for its printed circuit board assemblies.

Under the contract, CTS EMS will provide assemblies used in a new orthopedic surgical application.

CTS said the assemblies will be manufactured from its facility in New Hampshire, US and shipments will begin in the first quarter of 2013.

CTS has also previously received a contract from the medical orthopedic firm in 2011 for the production of high-volume surgical instrumentation including printed circuit assemblies, testing, certification and final assembly in a clean room environment.

Annual revenues from both programs are expected to be approximately $10m, claims CTS EMS.
