Luxembourg-based printing and packaging firm Flint Group has acquired Italy-based Eston Chimica for an undisclosed sum.
Based in Padova, Eston Chimica produces and markets water-based inks for flexo and gravure applications to printers in Italy and Southern Europe
The company’s solutions can be used in paper and board applications, including corrugated, shopping bags, paper bags and various other water-based print jobs.
Eston Chimica produces hydroflex inks for printing on coated paper and hydroflex matt inks for printing on kraft paper and corrugated cardboard.
The company also manufactures hydroflex rapid inks for printing on smooth paper, hydroflex ultra R inks for printing on all types of paper and hydroflex M inks for printing on metallic paper.

In November, Flint Group opened a new facility in the cosmopolitan district of Beylikduzu, in Istanbul, Turkey for its packaging division.
Located 13km from the main container terminal on the European side of Turkey, the new 3800m² Beylikduzu manufacturing and distribution facility is currently producing and shipping products to packaging printers in Turkey, and the Middle East.
