Linx Printing Technologies has announced the launch of a new thermal inkjet (TIJ) printer Linx TJ725 that incorporates Simply Smart Technology to offer a digital solution for coding onto outer cases, boxes, shelf ready trays and packaging.
The new economical Linx TJ725 is ready to print every time with no hidden service costs, increasing production line efficiency, and reduces waste.
Linx's new Active Cartridge Care system cuts waste by slowing the nozzle drying process. The nozzles are covered and protected when not in use and automatically uncovered when the first product is sensed.
According to the company, the printer also allows tool-free, repositioning of the printhead and can be set up easily in the correct printing position during product changeovers, or when moving it between lines.
The built-in speed sensor of the printer detects the line speed as well as direction automatically and the touch screen interface offers ease of use and simple configuration for easy message changeover.
With a range of fonts and resolutions up to 300dpi, on line speeds of up to 1metre/sec, the Linx TJ725 can print messages up to a height of 12.5mm.
