Bluescope Steel announced to open its tenth production plant in Xi'An province in the northwest China. The plant aimed to produce providing 120,000 tons of pre-engineered steel building frames and will ramp up steel production in central and western China. This new 64-million-Australian-dollar factory, expected to employ up to 500 local workers, is also the first industrial building to obtain a three-star green rating, the highest environmental rating in the country.
