AWARD-winning LED lighting specialists MHA Lighting has expanded its product range for 2012. Experts at the Greater Manchester-based lighting manufacturers have unveiled their RodLite GRP range which acts as a direct replacement for fluorescent tubes – but has all the benefits of LEDs. The RodLite GRP’s patented LED technology creates glare-free uniformly distributed light and achieves LG Standards Lux levels – but typically uses 80% less energy. It is ideal for any internal or external application where fluorescent tubes are currently being used and is available with a variety of covers including prismatic diffusers to provide the same aesthetics as a fluorescent fitting. For external applications such as multi-storey car parks, construction sites and subways the RodLite GRP is vandal-proof and is Ingress Protected. It is suited to heights of 2.4 to 8 meters and typically replaces 4,5,6,7 and 8 foot fluorescent tubes. Tom Harrison, MHA Lighting MD, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer an extensive range of environmentally-friendly, energy saving LED lighting products that not only deliver exceptional light quality but actually save our customers money. “The RodLite GRP will appeal to those customers who want to replace fluorescent tubes, whilst still achieving the same light output quality as well as the energy savings of LED. "It is the ideal replacement product for both internal and external applications, achieves 80% energy savings and provides the highest quality of uniformly distributed light.” As well as the new RodLite range, MHA Lighting has also launched a new website for 2012. The new website showcases all the new MHA Lighting products and extensions to existing ranges. Tom added: “The new website clearly shows how every application can benefit from our breakthrough LED technologies. "Our LED Lighting beats traditional fluorescents, and other LED manufacturers’ products, hands down on light quality, light output and energy saving. "It is time that everyone made the switch to LED lighting and started saving on their energy costs now.” Source: mhalighting.co.uk
