On Nov. 16, 2011, in respond to the application by Malaysian manufacturer Andfast Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, the European Union launched a mid-term anticircumvention investigation on the steel/iron fasteners originating from China. The involved products under EU HS codes are ex73181290, ex73181491, ex73181499, ex73181559, ex73181569, ex73181581, ex73181589, ex73181590, ex73182100 and ex73182200. In October 2010, the EU conducted anti-circumvention investigation on China’s steel/iron fasteners.
