British automotive manufacturer McLaren Automotive has launched the new 2013 12C Spider sports car, which is the open roof variant of the company's MP412C sports car.
According to the car maker, the new sports car is powered by 3.8litre V8 twin turbo engine mated to a 7 Speed SSG dual-clutch transmission which allows the car to produce an output of 616hp and 600Nm torque.
The new sports car can sprint from 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in 3.1 seconds while offering a top speed of 204 mph (329 kph) and CO2 emissions of 279g/km.
British automotive manufacturer said that 12C Spider will be offered at a price range from $287,200 in Canada and its first deliveries are expected during late December 2012 or early January 2013.
The global debut of the 12C Spider will be held on 17 August at Gooding & Company's Exclusive VIP Preview Reception and will be showcased at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance weekend in Canada.
