CME Group's corn,soybean and wheat markets are expected to start mostly higher.
On Monday,theThe early calls for the commodities on Monday,January 27,2014,are mixed.Corn is seen opening 1-2 cents lower,soybeans 2-4 cents higher,and wheat 2-4 cents higher.
In overnight trading,the March corn futures contract traded 3/4 of a cent lower at$4.28 per bushel.The March soybean futures traded 2 cents higher at$12.86.The March wheat futures contract traded 3 cents higher at$5.68.For March soybean meal futures,the contract traded$1.60 per short ton higher at$427.30;March soybean oil futures traded$0.14 lower at$37.40.
The outside markets are unfavorable for Monday's grain trade.The real factors driving the calls will be the mostly higher overnight markets.
