China-based label convertor Suzhou Advance Printing (Yali) has installed a Xeikon 3030Plus digital label press with the help of its long-term partner United Printing.
The press is entry level and is a part of the Xeikon 3000 Series presses. The 3000 Series features five press models ranging from entry level to higher capacity.
All five models deliver same 1200 DPI imaging quality and can print on a range of substrates without pre-coating or pre-treatment, including various self-adhesive materials such as co-extruded films, BOPP, PVC and PET, transparent/opaque films as well as paperboards.
Divided into two maximum web widths of 516mm/20.3 inches and 330 mm/13 inches and three top running speeds of 63 FPM, 49.2 FPM and 31.5 FPM, these presses are designed to be field-upgraded to the wider and/or faster specifications as per business needs.

The Xeikon X-800 digital front end is also included in the press which helps in easier implementation of variable data on labels or packages.
