US carmaker Ford is planning to unveil 15 new model in Europe in 2012 incorporating new TDCi diesel engines, low CO2 ECOnetic Technologies and EcoBoost petrol engines.
By the end of 2012, Ford of Europe's portfolios of cars is expected to include six Fiesta models (three diesel, three petrol) and two Focus diesel models and the Focus Electric.
According to carmaker, nine of the 15 new models to be launched this year, will be powered by 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine.
The engine will be offered with two output options including 100PS and 125PS for two models, followed by two B-MAX and four C-MAX and Grand C-MAX models.
Ford's new vehicles for 2012 include, Focus 1.0-litre EcoBoost 100PS, Focus 1.0-litre EcoBoost 125PS, Focus 1.6-litre ECOnetic Technology 88g, Focus ST 2.0-litre EcoBoost 250PS, B-MAX 1.0-litre EcoBoost 100PS and B-MAX 1.0-litre EcoBoost 120PS.
The carmaker will also launch B-MAX 1.6-litre TDCi, C-MAX 1.0-litre EcoBoost 125PS, Grand C-MAX 1.0-litre EcoBoost 100PS, Grand C-MAX 1.0-litre EcoBoost 125PS, Transit 2.2-litre TDCi 1-tonne, Transit Tourneo Custom 2.2-litre TDCi and Ranger 2.2 TDCi 125PS RWD.
Ford said that the remaining two Ford Fiesta variants will be launched from fourth quarter of 2012.
