According to data released by Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the country’s imports of flat alloy steel totaled 49,474 tons in August, falling by 34% year on year. In August, the country’s imports flat alloy steel wider than 600mm totaled 74,830 tons, slumping by 40.6% year on year. Meanwhile, France was the largest supplier with 15,079 tons; Russia was the second largest one with 5,367 tons and Sweden was the third largest one with 3,825 tons.
