Lituanica UK Has Issued an Expanded Recall of Pasaka Vermiseliai Pasta in The UK

Lituanica UK has issued an expanded recall of Pasaka Vermiseliai Pasta in the UK, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

Pasaka Vermiseliai Pasta (400g) was earlier recalled on 18 June, as product was labeled as being egg free, but the product contains traces of egg. This recall affected the products with bar code number 4770374192125.

The latest recall affects Pasaka Vermiseliai Pasta, 400g, belonging to all 'best before' dates up to and including 16 March 2014.

The product is a possible risk to anyone with an allergy to or intolerance of egg. The agency has issued an allergy alert and advised anyone with an allergy to or intolerance of egg not to eat this product.

Consumers who have bought the product can return it to the store for a full refund.

Lituanica UK has withdrawn all affected stock from sale and recalled it from customers with an allergy to or intolerance of egg. It will also display notices in stores, explaining the reason behind the recall.
