Publix Super Markets Is Voluntarily Recalling 11oz Publix Premium Frozen Tempura Shrimp

US retail chain Publix Super Markets is voluntarily recalling 11oz Publix Premium Frozen Tempura Shrimp as the dipping sauce packet included with the product contains soy that is not declared on the packaging.

Publix discovered this problem during internal product evaluations.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to soy can experience serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the product.Consumers who have purchased the product in question may return it to their local store for a full refund.The company said that it has removed this product from all store shelves.

Publix has 1,061 stores in Florida,Georgia,South Carolina,Alabama and Tennessee.It reported sales of$27bn in 2011.
