According to data released by Chinese customs, China’s exports of stainless steel flat products totaled 179,752 tons in July, rising by 6.3% from a month ago. In July, the country’s exports of stainless steel flats made to Taiwan totaled 65,236 tons, jumping by 25.6% from June. Industry sources indicated that the exports made to Taiwan soared as the country was expected to initiate dumping duties on stainless cold rolled imports from China into Taiwan.
