ACE Group, a provider of insurance and reinsurance services has made new appointments to its Continental Europe team in a bid to boost investment in its information technology insurance segment.
ACE Continental and Central and Eastern Europe energy and technical lines manager Gilbert Flepp has been appointed to the newly created role of cyber risks line manager, Continental and Central and Eastern Europe.
Flepp in his new role, will manage ACE's Dataguard and cyber liability proposition and its performance throughout the region.
He will continue to report to Serge Osouf, executive vice president, Continental Europe and senior advisor, emerging markets and to Derek Talbott, executive vice president, global property, ACE Overseas General.
Furthermore, he will be accountable for ACE's energy proposition across the region, reporting to Roger Giddings, executive vice president, global energy, ACE Overseas General and to Serge Osouf.
Simultaneously, the US property and casualty insurer has promoted Hervé Cosson, construction line manager Continental and Central and Eastern Europe, to the role of regional technical lines manager, Continental and Central and Eastern Europe.
He will supervise regional management for construction and will also oversee the regional power generation business, including engineering, reporting to Derek Talbott and to Serge Osouf.
Hervé has worked with numerous firms and has nine years of underwriting and management experience at ACE.
