Mahindra & Mahindra has reported a 18% rise in its auto sales to 48,143 units in November 2012, compared to 40,722 units for the same period in 2011.
The company's domestic sales increased 23% to 46,755 units in November 2012, compared to 38,159 units for the same period last year.
Passenger Vehicles segment's sales grew 38% to 24,604 units in November 2012, compared to 17,813 units for the same period previous year.
The company said that the four wheeler commercial segment which includes the passenger and load categories has registered a growth of 7% at 14,353 units, while the three wheeler segment grew by 17% at 6867 units in November 2012.
Mahindra & Mahindra chief executive of automotive division Pravin Shah said, "The recently announced GDP numbers are in line with expectations and we do not foresee any immediate impact on the monetary policy."
