US-based label printing company Labels in Motion has purchased and installed a Xeikon 3500 digital label press in order to handle production of customized labels for the nutraceutical market.
Xeikon 3500 is based in a new 135,000ft2 manufacturing facility and features a true 1200 dpi resolution with variable dot density and good image quality.
The system is equipped with LED-based imaging heads and five color stations. It is used for printing XYMOGEN product labels and also serves other companies in the health and wellness, as well as food and beverage markets
Labels in Motion chief operating officer Manon Chin said, "We're a new breed of label printing company. We are trying to make a heavy impact within the market, and the Xeikon 3500 offers the quality, productivity, flexibility and uptime to help get us there."
Labels in Motion is a division of health sciences company XYMOGEN.
