SGS Life Science Services Has Selected Merge Eclinical OS to Optimize Data Management

Contract service organization SGS Life Science Services has selected Merge eClinical OS to optimize data management across Phase I-IV studies.

With flexibility to support trials in any phase, capture any type of data, from any source and any modality, the Merge Healthcare's technology offers comprehensive set of clinical trial capabilities in an unified platform.

Using one system with a broad set of capabilities, including interactive response and drug dispensing in addition to data capture functionality, maximizes efficiency and improves timelines across all the studies.

SGS Life Science Services EDC and data standards of clinical research head Joris De Bondt said that the pay-as-you go model provides with cost efficiencies.

"Another benefit was how straight-forward the system was to use. Our team was able to learn the system, build a complete trial and have the trial validated and pass user acceptance testing faster than with previous systems," Joris De Bondt added.

The technology is designed to help users create studies quickly and manage them effectively without technical assistance by delivering built-in study templates, libraries and reports.

Merge eClinical general manager Zaher El-Assi said, "Our goal is to empower our CRO partners to better serve their customers by developing internal expertise to quickly build, test and deploy trials for their organization regardless of trial complexity and size."
