Ryan Heniford, Business Development Director at Secant Medical,Ryan Heniford. His presentation will highlight Secant Medical's research and development in biomaterials and advanced textile structures for regenerative medicine applications. The exhibit and symposium will be at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, May 13-15.
Heniford will be speaking during the session titled "Medical: Research and Application Based" on May 14 between 8:30 am and 11:00 am. His presentation, "Textiles and Regenerative Medicine", will provide an overview of the potential uses of biomedical structures in regenerative applications. He will also highlight the considerations necessary for developing fibers and fabrics for regenerating the human body.
"The symposium will highlight novel materials and innovative textile structures that are being developed to meet the challenges of the medical device industry," said Heniford. "I look forward to sharing our work surrounding textiles and biomaterials development to advance future structures for regenerative medicine in a variety of in vivo applications for cardiovascular, orthopedics, neurovascular and tissue engineering.
