Spain-based Vilas del Turbón has selected Bericap’s Galileo range of closures for its gourmet still water filled in 0.5 and 1l PET bottles.
The closures have been made from patented technology for molded hinge closures, which is the base of long skirt dispensing closure development.
The new design allows preservation of the traditional look of premium edible oil and vinegar. The closures offer tamper evidence when the overcap is opened.
According to the company the Hexalite closures can also be used on high-speed filling lines.
The sealing system has been designed for highest level of tightness and to save both raw material and energy costs, the lightweight bottle and lightweight closure make a good combination.
Vilas del Turbón intends to use the new bottles in restautants, cafes and hotels.
