Thirstie Announce That It Has Extended Its Service to San Francisco Customers

Thirstie, the New York based on-demand wine and spirits delivery marketplace, is pleased to announce that it has extended its service to San Francisco customers.

Thirstie has also partnered with Foodily, the only recipe network powered by friends and tastemakers. Through this collaborative effort, Thirstie will be the first on-demand alcohol delivery application to successfully integrate recipes and recommendations into its user experience.

Beginning today, San Francisco customers can leverage the accessibility of Thirstie for doorstep bottle service, eliminating trips to the liquor store. Thirstie works with key retailers to curate the selections for an optimized shopping experience ensuring that the customer's order is in stock. For all orders, Thirstie aims to have your order delivered within the hour.

Thirstie will now feature hundreds of classic and contemporary cocktail selections for users to review while purchasing their choice of spirit. Powered by Foodily, the recipes will constantly be updated with new selections to ensure that customers always have creative options and fresh ideas that they can use to impress their friends.

"As America's most connected city, we are excited to bring Thirstie to the city of San Francisco," said CEO Devaraj Southworth. "We are excited to make Foodily's broad range of recipes easily accessible to our customers so that they can serve up great drinks no matter what the season or occasion might be."

"We are delighted to work with Thirstie to help remove the friction between discovering new cocktail recipes and purchasing the essentials you need," said Andrea Cutright, CEO of Foodily. "Now it's that much faster to move from inspiration to actually making what you want. Whether it's a classic bourbon cocktail or the perfect martini, Foodily's platform is transforming how companies connect content to consumers' carts."

Customers can find the in-app recipes when searching and selecting their choice of spirit or sparkling wine. Once a selection is made, a cocktail shaker icon will appear in the upper right hand corner, offering between 10-15 creative tastemaker recipes on rotation for users to check out. Featured recipes are hand picked and vetted to ensure easy to use directions and simple ingredient lists that can be found at home or at your local retailer. This latest update enhances the customer's overall cocktail experience by combining convenient search, actionable content and quick delivery all into one full-circle experience.

Thirstie is available on a number of platforms including online, iOS and Android. In the past six months, Thirstie has launched in national cities including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and now San Francisco. Providing a simple, intuitive user experience, Thirstie makes your favorite beer, wine and liquors easy to find, serving as a discovery tool for new products that might be out of the ordinary.
