Hanover Hospital in the US has selected Capsule Tech's DataCaptor medical device integration (MDI) software.
The DataCaptor solution will connect Hanover's Critical Care Area (CCA) patient monitors to Meditech.
With an implementation in the CCA, Hanover will next integrate medical devices in its emergency department.
Capsule's MDI solutions will facilitate connectivity between virtually any medical device and virtually any electronic medical record system, allowing hospitals to select their type and scope of implementation.
Capsule Tech chief marketing and sales officer Stuart Long said, "To date we have successfully worked with nearly 200 MEDITECH client hospitals and implemented our solutions across all three MEDITECH platforms; Client/Server, MAGIC and 6.0."
