Germany-based packaging, printing and specialty solutions provider Klckner Pentaplast has opened a kp i.center that will help pharmaceutical customers bring their products to market faster.
The centre that will be located in the University of Virginia research park emerging technology centre will help customers work on innovative packages and prototypes.Customers will be able to work with kp team to test and assess designs in real-time which will reduce the time it takes in designing and choosing a particular kind of packaging.
The centre will also be home to the newly expanded BlisterPro XCEL suite of consulting, design, stability and prototyping services of kp pharmaceutical division.
It was conceived keeping in mind the growing needs of global pharmaceutical packaging professionals for both branded and generic products.
Kp global market development director Daniel Stagnaro said: "We wanted a destination for clients to 'take residency' and work side-by-side with us on their specific packaging needs. The new kp i.center facilitates rapid packaging design, and gives customers a truly personalized experience."
The kp i.center will feature collaboration rooms, customer offices, on-site tooling and blistering and onsite expertise.
Kp also announced the expansion of kp's Blister Pro services to BlisterPro XCEL services with which, it will be able to provide faster product stability profiling for the pharmaceutical industry.
