ACE Group has appointed three new key executives within its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) travel team, with a strategy to build its travel business across the region.
The US underwriter has promoted Emma Bazard, currently acting as relationship manager for the EMEA region, to the new role of head of travel for UK and Ireland.
Emma will report to Duncan Green, head of the accident and health business for the UK and Ireland, and Chris Price, regional director of travel for EMEA.
In 2007, Emma joined ACE as marketing services manager before moving to the travel team in 2009.
In the current role, Emma will be responsible for the profitable growth of the UK and Ireland travel business for ACE, the insurer said.
The underwriter has also named Alan Berry as regional travel insurance underwriter for the EMEA region, who will report to Chris Price.
Prior to joining ACE earlier this year, Alan worked seven years at ETI International Protection, the UK branch of Europaische Reiseverischerung.
Alan will use his pan European experience to support the underwriting team throughout the EMEA region.
ACE has also promoted Andre Graham, EMEA travel project co-ordinator to the role of UK & Ireland Travel underwriter and he will report to Emma Bazard.
