A new service from Truck Web Services provides Canadian truck dealers with new ways to handle transactions, according to the company.
The company has announced the availability of Transactional Services and BidTrader Auctions in Canada. The new services are available to commercial truck dealers and owner/operators looking to sell pre-owned trucks.
"Truck Web Services specializes in offering Web site solutions and online marketing tools to help the dealer be more successful. Now, we are capitalizing on the opportunity to provide more ways for dealers wanting to connect with buyers to sell their pre-owned inventory," said Jaime Lyle, general manager, software solutions. "Providing transactional capabilities and auctions really puts the dealer in control of their business. By sending pre-owned inventory to auction sooner, the dealer has the opportunity to affect their profit and loss in a positive way."
The company claims its BidTrader service is the lowest-cost auction model on the market, eliminating buyers' and sellers' success fees. It features end-to-end transaction capabilities. The system will feature Classes 4-8 trucks. The first such auction is scheduled for Sept. 12 at 9 a.m. EST and will run for seven days. The company is offering a Webinar to interested companies.
