To encourage early registration, the organisers are offering special rates to visitors who order their badge online from now until October 15, a press release informs.

The early bird badge rates are €80 for an 8-day badge and €40 for a 1-day badge.

Visitors who require a visa to enter Italy can request an invitation letter when they order their badge, which can be used as a supporting document for the visa application.

In addition, visitors have been advised to book their accommodation early and may contact the ITMA 2015 official travel agent, Ventana Group, for assistance.

“With eight months to the exhibition opening, interest is extremely strong, and many group enquiries have been received from associations and travel agents from various parts of the world,” the organisers said.

Currently, some 140 trade and professional associations have lent their support to ITMA 2015 and supporting associations will be able to enjoy special group rates.

Eileen Ng, executive director of MP Expositions, the organiser of ITMA 2015, said, "We encourage visitors to plan their trip early and purchase their ITMA 2015 badge online now to avoid long queues at the registration areas.”

The organisers have also launched an extensive promotion programme to promote the exhibition to textile and garment sector, fashion brands and retailers, as well as research and educational institutions.

Maria Avery, secretary general of CEMATEX, which owns ITMA, said, "Our organising partner, MP Expositions, has planned a global campaign to bring industry leaders to source sustainable technologies and other solutions.”

The promotions include a series of roadshows which will be held in the textile hubs of South Asia, China, India, Central Asia, Central and South America, and Europe over the next few months.
