In June this year, the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 75.0 percent, up from 71.9 percent recorded in May, while the capacity utilization rate in the Turkish basic metal manufacturing industry was 77.6 percent in June last year, according to the provisional data released by the Central Bank of Turkey.
Meanwhile, in June of the current year the capacity utilization rate in the manufacture of metal products, except machinery and equipment, was 72.0 percent, up from the 71.8 percent recorded in May and down from 73.2 percent in June 2013.
The capacity utilization rate in Turkey's general manufacturing industry, on the other hand, was at 75.3 percent in June this year, remaining unchanged compared to June 2013, but up from 74.4 percent in May this year.
