Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT), an ONC-ATCB, has granted a certification No. CC-1112-909422-2 to MediaDent's MediaDent IX and determined it as a complete electronic health record (EHR).
MediaDent, a division of SuccessEHS, is involved in serving the needs of community and public health organizations with an integrated solution and the ability to interface with most EHR / EMR systems.
The certification, which is in accordance with the applicable eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, is 2011/2012 compliant which support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.
SuccessEHS president and CEO Sanders Pitman said the certification enables the company's dental clients to pursue meaningful use incentive funds while delivering high quality dental care.
