The wine firm will float its shares on the AIM, which is the stock exchange market meant for smaller firms in the country, Reuters reported.

Giordano Vini and Provinco Italia wineries have combined revenues of around €140m.

These wineries also have a combined capacity to produce 44 million bottles annually, of which 70% is sold overseas, reports the news agency.

This is the first wine company in the country to be listed.

IWB will make its debut on the Milan stock exchange through a financial vehicle, called IPO Challenger.

Founded in 1900, Giordano Vini engages in online sales of Italian red and white wines and gastronomic wines.

Provinco Italia produces and sells Italian wines internationally. It distributes its products to over 20 countries across the world, including renowned food store chains.
