HTC October Revenues Hit 6-Month High

HTC has reported revenues of NT$8.95 billion (US$276.8 million) for October, up 25.92% on month but down 43.2% on year. The October figures were the company's highest in six months.

For the first 10 months of 2015, revenues amounted to NT$104.88 billion, decreasing 32.68% from a year earlier.

HTC is expected to see its revenues continue to move higher in November and December as the vendor will begin to ship its newly released mid-range flagship model, the HTC One A9, to the US and China, according to market sources.

HTC also said earlier that it expects its losses to further narrow in the fourth quarter, down from a loss of NT$9.70 per share in the second quarter and NT$5.41 in the third. The company posted a negative EPS of NT$14.68 for the January-September period.
