British automotive manufacturer McLaren Automotive has unveiled the new 2013 12C Spider convertible version at 2012 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in US.
The convertible sports car is powered by a twin-turbo 3.8litre V8, mated to a seven-speed SSG dual-clutch transmission, which will produce an output of 616hp.
Features of the new convertible include brake steer, proactive chassis control and the unique the company's airbrake, which combine to deliver enhanced driving conditions.
The new supercar can sprint from 0-100km/h in 3.1 seconds, while offering CO2 emissions of about 270 g/km.
According to the carmaker, the new 12C Spider will be on sale in 22 countries globally following its launch in November at an initial price of $265,750.
