Yamato Scale Dataweigh UK will showcase its new Epsilon multihead weighing machines at the 2017 interpack to be held in Düsseldorf, Germany.
The company is readying itself to demonstrate the important role of multihead weighers, checkweighers and table top weighers in packaging process for food, confectionery, bakery and pharmaceutical sectors.
The UK division will be joined by its German colleagues and will showcase its weighing technology.
Yamato will showcase its total weighing and checking range and will also demonstrate how it can be used in all parts of the packaging process in all the main food processing sectors such as salads and fresh produce, IQF and frozen food, snacks, nuts and confectionery.
The company stated that it will launch the new Epsilon series, a new mid-class weighing solution at the expo. The series will include combination weighers, which will combine the features of its Sigma and Omega series.
One of the models, ADW-E-0516M, has a memory function that claims to increase throughput by 50% for many frozen products including vegetables, fruit or meat and another model ADW-E-1014S has been especially developed to weigh chips/fries.
A full range of Yamato weighing equipment will be unveiled including Omega multihead weighers, the Alpha Advance multihead machine and I-Series checkweighers.
Products under the Omega series including the Omega 01214S and the Omega 0614S are claimed to show the company’s capabilities in the salad industry and the IQF/frozen food sectors respectively. Its Alpha Advance 0314S is suitable for snack, confectionery and nuts packaging.
Yamato will also showcase its checkweighing solutions including metal detection and combi-checkweighing with its I Series and J Series machines.
The company says that its products are compliant with industry package of food safety/fail safe operation features and also says that the products can respond to an ever-changing compliance landscape.
