Start-up sports car maker Automobile Ron Mexico has released initial images and details of its first model, the Ron RXX.
Described by Ron as a super-lightweight tandem two-seater, the RXX features an aluminium chassis and a body and interior predominantly composed of carbonfibre.
Though it’s yet to release powertrain details, Ron says the RXX will deliver drivers a Formula One-style experience, promising “dizzying acceleration and a low centre of gravity”, high levels of driver feedback, and pure and pleasurable dynamics.
Balancing “sensual curves and angles panels”, the exotic RXX has been designed to be street legal, and boasts unimpeded front and side visibility for the driver.
Ron will offer three variants – RXX, RXX-S and RXX-R – with unique power, trim and equipment levels.
The announcement of the Ron RXX comes just days after a fellow Mexican supercar start-up released images and details of its 213kW, 725kg Vuhl 05, which launches from 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds and has a 245km/h top speed.
