It Can Match Colors Across Substrates From Folding Cartons to Flexible Packaging

IDEAlliance has re-certified Outlook Group Packaging & Printing Solutions as a G7 Master Printer on its flexographic presses.

According to Outlook Group, G7 Master status is granted to physical facilities that are qualified to use the G7 Proof-to-Print Process and uses modern technology, techniques, and press controls in order to produce a visual match from proof to print.

Outlook Group CEO John Cappy said many of its customers take advantage of the synergies that come from its vertically integrated packaging facilities.

"The ability to match colors across a variety of packaging types means that Outlook Group Packaging & Printing Solutions can provide a high quality complete packaging solution," Cappy said.

The company, which has been G7 Master Printer Certified since May of 2010, re-certifies every year to make sure that its color match processes meet the packaging industry demands.

Outlook can calibrate its colors to a standard and can reproduce the standard on any of its presses or proofs.

With this, it can match colors across substrates from folding cartons to flexible packaging and labels and includes products produced by flexographic as well as lithographic offset technologies.
