As per the July 2014 Cotton USA global economic update, 2014-15 world cotton production is estimated at 116.4 million bales, 500,000 bales higher than estimated in June.
2014-15 world ending stocks are estimated at 105.7 million bales, 3.0 million bales higher than June. 2014-15 US cotton production is estimated at 16.5 million bales, 1.5 million bales higher than estimated in June.
2014-15 US cotton exports are estimated at 10.2 million bales, again 500,000 bales higher than in June.
2014-15 China mill use is estimated at 36.5 million bales, 500,000 bales lower than those estimated in June. Pakistan mill use is estimated at 11.0 million bales, also 300,000 bales lower than in June, while Brazil mill use is estimated at 4.0 million bales, 200,000 bales lower than anticipated in June.
