This month Philips further expands its lighting portfolio with a selection of new products and range extensions designed for the professional market. The final launch of this year has a strong focus on the retail environment, with solutions designed to help retailers to showcase products at their best and create an inviting atmosphere for their customers.
Innovative solutions for shelf and linear accent lighting
InteGrade LED is a new range of high-performance LED fixture and LED engine systems for shelf and linear accent lighting in indoor environments and refrigerated cabinets. The InteGrade LED system is an energy-efficient way to create an enjoyable shopping experience. Thanks to its compact dimensions, the system can be aesthetically integrated below and inside shelves where it delivers a uniform light distribution. Enabling energy savings of up to 65% (10 W compared to a 28 W TL5 system), InteGrade LED offers excellent Total Cost of Ownership with attractive payback times.
Asymmetrical optics direct the light precisely where it is needed, thus making optimum use of the light generated and energy consumed. The merchandise or background to be lit are presented uniformly, with reduced glare and dark spots. Philips LEDs have minimal output degradation and colour shift, so the light remains consistent throughout their long lifetime. InteGrade LED is an ideal solution for high-quality lighting without flicker or colour differences.
Two options of this sustainable lighting solution are available. The InteGrade LED fixture system is a preassembled profile (875 or 1175 mm), ready to be mounted into application. Allowing for greater design freedom, the InteGrade LED engine system consists of LED engines, profiles, connectors and inline-locks. With these separate components it is possible to create your own fixtures, which can also be easily combined to create longer light-lines. Both systems are completed by Xitanium drivers, cables and mounting accessories, to be ordered separately.
GreenSpace, providing a simple switch to LED
GreenSpace is a high-efficiency lighting solution perfect for making the switch from CFL downlight to LED, with a 175mm cut-out for easy renovation. Ideal for retail and hospitality applications, specifically corridors and back of house environments, GreenSpace offers an easy to maintain, sustainable lighting solution.
With energy savings of 50%, the return of investment can be recovered within one year. The long lifetime of 50,000 hours is actually five times longer than comparable CFL solutions. An emergency version is also available, and a dimmable version which can accrue additional energy savings.
CDM Solutions to enhance the shopping experience
CDM-T/TC Evolution 35/20W 930 is the latest and most exciting innovation in CDM technology, providing superior light output and light quality. This latest CDM lamp, with a CRI of 90, provides a crisp, white light that enables shoppers to really see the true colours of products whether fabrics or food. CDM Evolution also offers a long lifetime, 20,000 hours and a better Lumen/Watt ratio, up to 120Lm/W.
Also launched this month is the latest in HID electronic gear technology which creates an attractive retail solution when installed with the energy saving CDM Evolution. The HID AspiraVision Triple Wattage Driver is a breakthrough in HID driver capability, with a switching function to run 35W, 50W, or 70W HID lamps off one driver.
Improvements have also been made to the existing CDM portfolio. The PAR30L 942 range will be upgraded to the Elite burner technology, delivering a number of significant improvements, including CRI90, increased lumen output and increased lifetime. In addition the CDM-T 100W lamp is now available in colour 942, offering an energy saving alternative to the 150W CDM-T 942 lamp.
Maxos LED Performer
Based on the existing Philips Maxos system, Maxos LED Performer is a new lighting trunking solution that offers best-in-class energy savings with comfortable, glare-free light. The sleekly designed, Maxox LED Performer not only delivers high lighting levels, up to 9000 lumens, but also provides increased flexibility in light distribution.
The precise beam highlights and draws attention to products on the shelf in retail environments. However, the luminaire is designed to be used in a variety of applications. As the Maxos LED Performer is 50% more energy efficient than comparable TL solutions, it can significantly improve the efficiency of industrial buildings and ensure that warehouses, production spaces and facilities areas meet environmental standards without compromising on light quality.
