According to World Instant Noodle Association's survey on 15 countroes' instant noodles intake, one man in Korea ate 74.1 packs of noodles in 2013, ranking first. Vietnam and Indonesia comes after Korea with 60.3 packs and 57.3 packs.
It's reported that Korea's instant noodle sales reached RMB 10.7 billion in 2013. By the end of the third quarter, Korea's instant noodle sales has reached 1435.8 billion won. Korea's instant noodle production reached 590000 tons in 2013 and scale of production was 2012.4 billion won. Its exported volume was $210 million, up 64% on 2008.
From 2010 to 2013, Shin Ramyun of NongShim was the most popular in Korea. NongShim ranked first in instant noodles sales with 1300 billion won.
