Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus (METBC) Is Planning to Build a New Service Plant in Japan

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus (MFTBC) is planning to build a new service plant in Chikugo City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan.

According to the company the new green maintenance plant will feature new environmentally friendly solutions like LED lightings, solar-powered generation systems, new energy management system, and drainage water recirculation system, as well as helps in reducing CO2 emissions.

The new plant, which is planned to operate eight maintenance stalls within an overall site area of 13,000sqm, will allow the company to provide better servicing and maintenance operations in the overall southern part of the region.

Mitsubishi Fuso senior vice president and head of sales Japan Akio Suehiro said, "By bringing our operations closer, we aim to further support our customers with our high quality services and dedicated customer aftercare."

Construction of the plant will commence this month and is scheduled to start operations in March 2013, under the company's Sales Center Kyushu Fuso, Kurume-Tosu-Amagi Branch.
