The energy-efficient luminaires are provided as a seamless upgrade solution for the Canadian market, where 347-volt supply circuits are commonplace in commercial and industrial settings. Vapor Tight and Utility Wrap fixtures are designed to replace traditional fluorescent lighting with more than 50% energy savings and a significantly longer, 50,000-hour lifetime that minimizes maintenance interruptions and downtime in business productivity. The 347-volt-compatible models are available as four-foot-long, 30- or 50-watt fixtures in color temperatures of 4000K and 5000K.

“MaxLite is committed to providing energy-efficient lighting solutions for the entire North American market by offering both 277-volt and 347-volt fixtures,” said Indoor Product Marketing Director Pat Treadway. “By eliminating the need for step-down transformers, we are making it easier for Canadian facility managers to upgrade to a higher-quality, sustainable light source and benefit from the long-term energy and maintenance cost savings LEDs provide.”
Engineered for harsh environments, Vapor Tight fixtures provide high quality illumination in a shatterproof, watertight housing ideally suited for car wash operations, airports, tunnels, maintenance areas, parking garages and stairwells. Designed as a replacement for fluorescent wrap-around fixtures, Utility Wraps are a cost-effective, general lighting solution that meets building and safety codes for high-occupancy dwellings, parking garages, stairwells and other commercial utility applications.
