US-based label supplier Walle has installed Paper Converting Machine Company’s (PCMC) Fusion C flexographic press, as part of its efforts to enhance manufacturing operations.
Fusion C includes fast make-ready and waste-saving features similar to the previous Fusion family of products.
In addition, the system offers smaller footprint and fewer parts, helping customers to save space and cost.
Based in Winchester of Kentucky, Walle provides label solutions to the consumer packaged goods industry. It offers a range of label products and one-source convenience for its customers
Walle president and CEO Sean Keeney said: “Our new Fusion C press will help us fill a previously unmet need. We believe it will make an immediate impact in our facility and with our customers.
“Our new Fusion C will provide us with the quick changeover, better registration control, and higher speeds and efficiency that we were looking for.”

Barry-Wehmiller’s PCMC designs and manufactures advanced converting machinery for the tissue, nonwovens, package-printing and envelope-manufacturing industries.
The firm’s product portfolio includes rewinding, laminating, printing, embossing, perforating and packaging equipment for tissue and towels, folding and converting machines.
It also produces a range of flexographic printing presses for the flexible-packaging, prime-label and carton-converting industries
