German industrial packaging producer Mauser Group is all set to launch its new plastic tight head drum,Mauser L-Ring Drum H-Care,which has been designed specifically to address the packaging needs of healthcare industry.
Mauser addresses the needs of industries with requirements on packaging and packaging materials regulatory conformity,with its new L-Ring Drum H-Care.
The new drum has been derived with cooperation between the Mauser and petrochemical company SABIC on the development of a new high density polyethylene(HDPE)material for large blow-molded packaging solutions.
The drums'inner layer is made from a new HDPE material and makes use of the company's multilayer drum machine technology.
Mauser Group global product development and sustainability management head Klaus-Peter Schmidt said the H-Care Drum is the first product launch of the company making use of the new HDPE developed by SABIC.
"Certainly,we targeted not only drum applications in specific but also other large blow moulding packaging from the beginning of our development cooperation.We are looking forward to expand our business in this area,"Schmidt said.
The packaging drum is UN-approved for transportation of dangerous goods and comes with full global and specific migration testing required for EU and US food contact compliance.
