The municipality has to implement promising investment project to build in the village of Leningrad plant for production of float glass. The design capacity of the plant will be 5.6 million square meters of flat glass per year.To ensure this capacity is planned to install a float line.
As a source of raw materials (sand) assumes the use of deposits of Rostov and Krasnodar regions, particularly in art. Samara (the distance from the object of construction of about 80 km).
The most suitable for use in the manufacture of this project sands (construction, molding, glass), you can also bring in such fields as KROPOTKIN (silicate sand), Sennovskaya (Pliocene sands glass) Goryacheklyuchevskoe, Kamennomostsky, Scherbakovskaya Novoplatnirovskoe, North (near Korenovsk), Slavic, etc.
The total project cost is $ 2.6 billion. Construction is expected to be completed within 1.5 to 2 years.
The plant will be located on a plot of 9.0258 hectares in the industrial zone of Art. Leningrad, located 1 km from the regional value Starominskaya - Leningrad - Pavlov and 700 meters from the train "Uman." Also located next to the object of local roads.
Creating an effective production of sheet float glass will meet the growing demand for high-quality building materials in the Leningrad Region and the Krasnodar Territory as a whole.
The main end-uses of sheet (float) glass business sectors will be construction, automotive, furniture and household appliances.
