Paper packaging is said to be the largest market, followed by metal, glass, and plastic, in the recycled material packaging segment, the study noted.
Smithers Pira forecasts that Asia will be the largest market for sustainable packaging and will account for 32% of the overall market in 2018.
Further, the issue of sustainable packaging is expected to grow in importance over the decade to 2023.
